Wine and a Movie in Center City  ***Postponed***

The event has postponed to a future date.

Forget about “Dinner and a Movie.” Let’s make it “Wine and a Movie” instead! This is an especially good idea when the movie is ABOUT the wine, which is what’s on the agenda for Tuesday, November 26. Join us for a screening of “Reign of Terroir,” an hour-long episode of the Netflix series called “Rotten,” which travels deep into the heart of the world’s food (and wine) supply chain.

“Reign of Terroir” focuses on a region in southern France and an organization of vintners there called CRAV, who (sometimes violently) act to protect what they perceive as economic threats to their livelihood.

Cathy Huyghe, who founded the Harvard Alumni in Wine and Food shared interest group, is interviewed on camera during this episode, and she’ll be joining us for this screening. We’ll also be tasting some wines from southern France, which we’ll inevitably experience in a whole new light.

The series is produced by the long-time team behind Anthony Bourdain’s compelling documentaries, including “Parts Unknown” and “Wasted!”
