Dear Harvard-Radcliffe Alum - As the weather turns to the colorful warm days and cool nights of autumn, nostalgia sets in for the care free days of being a student. There is something truly special about those years of our lives . . .
when we are so closely aligned with a peer group in pursuit of academic enrichment and social enjoyment. Please join the Harvard Radcliffe Club of Philadelphia and be part of the community that is recreating the magic of those longed for days in Cambridge.
We kick off the 2013-2014 Season with the Theme “Profiles in Prominence”. Throughout the year we will host events with local prominent Harvard Alumni who have offered to share their stories, provide “behind the scenes” tours and offer exclusive glimpses into places not often accessible. In addition, we will provide many opportunities for more casual gatherings to meet fellow alums and reconnect with familiar faces.
Please join us on October 23rd for our Annual Kick Off at The National Constitution Center. Jeffery Rosen, ’86, President and CEO of this venerable institution, the first and only nonprofit, nonpartisan institution devoted to the most powerful vision of freedom ever expressed: the U.S. Constitution, has graciously invited our club to meet with him, learn more about the Center, and discuss "The Future of Privacy in an Age of Surveillance.”
Your participation is paramount for our success in accomplishing our vision for a strong, vibrant local Harvard Community and I ask you to become a member today. Alumni from all Harvard schools are welcome to join and we are pleased to extend membership and membership benefits to spouses/partners of alumni, as well as parents of current students. We encourage you to consider becoming a Sustaining Member, which supports the club’s efforts to provide unique events and unique venues to our alumni. In addition to access to club events at special pricing, membership supports the club’s scholarship program for undergraduates from the local area.
