Calm Your Mind, Think Clearly And Be A Better Person

Join the Wharton Alumni Club of Philadelphia to experience Calm Clarity and provide feedback to tailor it to the needs of professionals and executives. Calm Clarity is an innovative program designed to show you how the mind works . . .

and provide you with practical tools and insights to cultivate your mind and direct your own brain development in a way that enhances your well-being, relationships and performance inside and outside of work.  The Calm Clarity program interweaves scientific insights with experiential exercises, group discussions and guided meditations. The concept is to present an evidence-based approach that demystifies meditation practices and provides tools and techniques that are relevant to everyday life.

The curriculum has been pilot tested at Masterman High School (the top ranked school in Pennsylvania), Cabrini College, and the University of Pennsylvania.  Participants across age groups and diverse backgrounds reported feeling much calmer and more positive and experiencing less stress and negative emotions after the Calm Clarity program.

The event will be led by Due Quach (AB '00), founder of Calm Clarity.  Having grown up as an economically disadvantaged refugee in inner city Philadelphia, Due overcame numerous challenges to graduate with honors from Harvard University and obtain an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Prior to forming Calm Clarity, she built a career as a management consultant and investment professional. Calm Clarity captures the lessons she learned from overcoming adversity and insights from scientific research, management and leadership training, and her study of contemplative practices. She has lived in Asia for 7 years, during which time, she studied Tibetan Buddhist Meditation and Vipassana Meditation in Dharamsala, India, and completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Singapore.
