 Upcoming Programs

April 18th     8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Teamabilty:  Dr. Janice Presser will bring to light new science in the realm of teamwork. Just as individuals have different profiles and skill sets for success, they also seek to make meaningful team  contributions in distinctly different ways. Similarly, team success relies on the presence of people whose desire to team with others is fully aligned with the mission of the team. This is extremely important whether you are building, leading, or joining a team. All who attend Dr. Presser's session will have the opportunity to experience Teamability, and also to do some hands-on work with the key elements of teaming and team management.

May 16th     8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Hello, Hi and Hey…Finding Common Ground With Every Generation: Suzanne Kaplan will explore the workplace changes that have produced huge differences in the way generations work and communicate…or don’t.  In a very interactive discussion, we’ll look at the hype vs. reality of generational communications.  Attendees will: understand the five generations in our workplace and what makes them unique; address stereotypes; examine their own personal communications style through a hands-on exercise; and gain innovative ideas for establishing common ground for communications across all generations. Sponsored by CALIPER.

June 20th     8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Unconscious Bias…What You Don’t know That IS Hurting You: Armers Moncure will demonstrate how the mind works, challenge the idea that all bias is bad, and examine a process to systematically anticipate, recognize, and respond to the varying expectations of clients, patients, and co-workers of diverse backgrounds. Attendees will: understand the dynamics and impact of hidden perceptions; experience compassion for diverse points of view; develop skills to bring into consciousness preciously hidden thoughts and reactions.
