Featured Panelists:

Ezekiel J. Emanuel (MD ‘88, PHD ‘89) - the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives, the Diane S. Levy and Robert M. Levy University Professor, and Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania.  Until January 2011, he served as a Special Advisor on Health Policy to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and National Economic Council.

Ralph W. Muller (AM ‘68) - Chief Executive Officer of University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS), overseeing three hospitals, a faculty practice plan, a primary-care provider network, three multi-specialty satellite facilities, home care, hospice care, and long-term care.

Kevin G. Volpp (AB ‘89) - founding Director of the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI CHIBE), Vice Chairman for Health Policy for the Department of Medical Ethics and Policy, and a Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Health Care Management at the Wharton School.

The College of Physician of Philadelphia / Mütter Museum is located at 19 South 22nd Street. This beautiful New Beaux-Arts style building, constructed in 1908 and designed by Cope and Stewardson, has the unique distinction of being home to the oldest medical society in the country (founded in 1787) and the renowned Mütter Museum (access not included).

7:00pm - Panel discussion, Mitchell Hall, 2nd floor.
