Sarah Karmon named new HAA Executive Director

karmonSarah is currently the Deputy Executive Director of the Harvard Alumni Association, where she has served as a leader since 2016. She will bring to the role a depth of experience from within the HAA and across Alumni Affairs & Development and the broader University and a vision for the continued progression and growth of the HAA for an evolving alumni body and world. Sarah succeeds Philip Lovejoy, who has served Harvard University for a quarter-century, including 18 years in the HAA and nine years as its director.

As the HAA’s next Associate Vice President and Executive Director, Sarah will be responsible for the strategic direction of the HAA, and she will serve as the leader of a network of more than 17,500 alumni volunteers, who are working to sustain communities of alumni in support of Harvard’s mission, and as an important conduit of alumni viewpoints and sentiment to the University.
