Food for Thought: Learn About the Ancient and Modern Armenia and Enjoy Armenian Cuisine at Apricot Stone
Join the Stanford Club of Philadelphia at Apricot Stone Restaurant in Northern Liberties to learn about Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) and enjoy Armenian Cuisine. The Event begins at 11:30 am with a meal including traditional Armenian food such as, kebab and pilaf.
Following the meal Dr. Ara Chalian, Chairman of the Armenian National Committee Eastern Region, will discuss the history of this ancient Christian country bounded by Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. Dr. Chalian will also discuss the current state of affairs in Armenia and in the Republic of Artsakh, an Armenian country surrounded by Azerbaijan.
