Radcliffe College Alumnae Oral History Project: An Evening of Stories, Legacy, and Conversation
The Harvard Club of Philadelphia warmly invites members and guests to a special evening, Tuesday April 14th, celebrating the voices, experiences, and enduring legacy of Radcliffe women.
Join us on Tuesday, April 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr for an engaging roundtable discussion spotlighting the Radcliffe College Alumnae Oral History Project—a powerful initiative dedicated to preserving the lived experiences of women who shaped, and were shaped by, a transformative era in higher education.
The evening will open with time for networking and hors d'oevres, followed by our program. A brief video introduction to the Oral History Project will set the stage for a lively roundtable conversation with local Radcliffe alumnae from the Classes of the 1950s through 1975. Through personal reflections and candid storytelling, our panelists will bring to life what it meant to be a Radcliffe student—academically, socially, and culturally—during a pivotal moment in women’s education and American history. The program will conclude with an open Q&A, inviting attendees to join the conversation and engage directly with our speakers.

Created by the Radcliffe Club of San Francisco, the Radcliffe College Alumnae Oral History Project preserves firsthand accounts of undergraduate life from the 1940s through the 1970s. These interviews are archived at Harvard’s Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America, ensuring that these voices continue to inform and inspire scholars, students, and future generations.
