A Fireside Chat with Governor Phil Murphy (AB '79)
From Thayer to Drumthwacket: What New Jersey Taught Me About Politics That I Never Learned at Harvard.
The Harvard Club of Princeton cordially invites the Philadelphia Club to join them for a "fireside chat" with former New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (AB '79) in Princeton on Tuesday, November 10, from 5 to 7 pm. This will be a chance to meet Governor Murphy, hear about his journey from Harvard Yard through the world of finance to New Jersey's governorship, and query him about what he sees in his and the nation's future.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres - a chance to renew old acquaintances and develop new friendships. Then, past Princeton Club president Jeff Laurenti will lead a moderated conversation with Governor Murphy, with ample time for participant Q-and-A.
